German Actor Matthias Schweighöfer takes centre stage in the latest editorial for the February issue of Interview Germany.
The shoot, photographed by Sebastian Mader, is raw and detailed. I love the overall edit.
A well-used set of backdrops give the images a rugged and natural sense providing the eye with a pleasing amount of detail.
I also like the unusual edit - especially the highlighting used throughout the photos. Highlighting in this manner isn't something we see that often in editorial as it can come across harsh or overly expose detail. But its clever use in these photos allows in that rawness that highlights the background and the styling from Klaus Stockhausen.
